Award-Winning Home Addition With New Kitchen & Bathroom

LONDON, OH

A home in London, Ohio faced a major structural issue after years of poor drainage caused the kitchen floor to sink. Brentwood Builders addressed the problem by removing a significant portion of the existing structure and adding 1,200 square feet of new living space. The addition included a new kitchen, walk-in pantry, laundry room, and full bathroom.

Throughout construction, the team carefully protected the home from moisture by hand-digging beneath the structure and managing water flow, while expansion joints and isolation membranes were installed for long-term durability. The finished project delivered a level, functional, and beautifully expanded home, and earned Brentwood a NARI of Southwest Ohio Contractor of the Year Award in the category of Residential Addition $250,000–$500,000.
