Walker Mitchell - Honorary Consultant

I graduated from Purdue University in 1960 with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering.  I then spent over 30 years as a researcher, manager and executive with the U.S. Air Force.  During this time I was heavily involved in strategic planning activities for research and development organizations within the Air Force.  I was also the co-leader responsible for building one of the largest research facilities at the base.

Upon retirement, I established Mitchell Consulting to provide management and planning services for research companies in the Dayton area.  During this time I performed many planning efforts for both for-profit and non-profit organizations.

In the early 90’s I teamed with another planner when they discovered they had a mutual interest in providing planning services for churches.  They jointly took their expertise in the secular planning arena and modified and enhanced their techniques to apply proven methods of planning for churches. I have successfully conducted strategic ministry planning activities for many churches in the mid-west as well as internationally.
