When we first started this process, we honestly didn’t know where to begin — all we knew was that we wanted to make our house bigger. So, like most people, we turned to Google, and that’s how we found Brentwood Builders. We’re so grateful we did.

 

From our very first meeting with John Harkelroad, we knew we were in the right hands. John, you took the time to actually interview us to make sure we were the kind of people Brentwood wanted to serve — and we’re so glad we passed! That thoughtful approach immediately told us what kind of company you are: one that values integrity, partnership, and doing things the right way.

 

Then came Cory Wendel, absolutely the right man for the job and wow, what a blessing he was. Cory, your professionalism, steady leadership, and hands-on, action-oriented style made the entire project feel easy and organized. You kept us informed and made sure everything was done right. In other words, you HEARD US and addressed every concern. We always felt confident that our project was in capable hands.

 

To the rest of the Brentwood crew — thank you for your hard work, craftsmanship, and respect for our home. The addition turned out better than we could have ever imagined, and we can’t thank you enough for helping us bring our vision to life. We truly love the result.

“Below is my feedback on the recent bathroom projects Brentwood completed at our house:

Communication – 10 out of 10 on Communication. Doug Phillips shared regular updates along the way in regards to who was coming and what work would be performed each day.

Schedule – 10 out of 10 on Scheduling. We were given options when we wanted to start the project and what we selected happened as scheduled.

Professionalism – 10 out of 10 on Professionalism. Many days work was done when no one was at home and Brentwood, and other contractors, respected our home. When we were home all parties were respectful and gave updates as needed – all were very friendly and accommodating to our needs.

Quality workmanship – 10 out of 10 on Quality Workmanship. This is the 3rd Major Home Project Brentwood completed for us and the “Quality of Workmanship” is one of the main reasons we keep going back to them. We have been blow away by the results and so have our family and friends. Our new bathrooms look like something seen in a fancy hotel!

Cleanliness – 10 out of 10 on Cleanliness. Each day our home was left in the same condition as it was found, and at the end of the project a major clean occurred which was much appreciated and a great final touch. Also, outside our home things were kept in order and our property was respected. We did not find trash laying around or messes we had to clean up.

On-time etc. – 10 out of 10 on On-Time. The project actually was fully completed 2 weeks early. Each of the other projects Brentwood did for us was either completed on-time or early. Thank you!!!!

Overall – 10 out of 10 on Overall rating for Brentwood and their Team. Both John Harkleroad and Doug Phillips were fantastic to work with. We worked with them on our previous projects too. They have both been with the Company for decades, which is a tremendous testimony to the work they produce. Doug has also been a great resource even after project completion. I’ve kept in contact with Doug on various questions and he is always offering support and help – even if it had nothing to do with the project he worked on for us. We can’t say enough nice things about Brentwood and John and Doug. Thank you!!!!!!!!!

We talked to a few different builders before finding Brentwood but once we did we knew they were the right ones for the job. One of my biggest pet peeves is when ppl or companies say they are going to do something and don’t end up following through. With Brentwood they are truly a company who does what they say they are going to do.

Communication was always great. They kept us up to date and in the know of all things along the way. This was a major project that took months to complete. John truly cared about every little detail and did everything he could to ensure a job well done.

We were out of our house for a while during the project and he even took the time to hook up a sprinkler and help us water the grass seed from where construction happened. He worked with me on special accommodations outside of the norm that I had requested. This made his job more complicated but made me a very happy customer. During the project he went out of his way to help me figure out certain things that he wasn’t even responsible for taking care of. He truly cares about those he works with. I would not hesitate to recommend Brentwood builders to anyone looking to have a remodel/addition done and would be happy to talk to anyone about my experience.”

“This kitchen remodel is our second home project with Brentwood, after a home additon in 2017. They did a great job with both projects, and even with the materials and work shortages this year we had very few delays in the schedule, they had their subcontractors and materials/equipment ready. The site manager kept open communication with us throughout and the finished product is great.”
